Chiropractor Joe Stevens D.C.
Dr. Joe takes an advanced structural approach to Chiropractic using the Gonstead System which is a specific, precise technique that focuses on correcting the structure of the spine to not only help to alleviate symptoms but to correct the underlying cause of the problem. Dr. Joe has received a post-doctorate Diplomate in the Gonstead Technique of Chiropractic. He is considered an expert within the technique field.
He also has received a post-doctorate Diplomate in Chiropractic philosophy. He currently speaks and teaches at several colleges and seminars around the Midwest.
- Graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN with a Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2011
- He has held internship positions at 5 separate highly successful Chiropractic offices.
- Former President of the Gonstead Technique Club at Northwestern Health Sciences University
- He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and has spent several hundred seminar hours specializing in Pediatric Chiropractic through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and is currently pursuing additional certifications in pediatrics.
- Graduate of the 2011 class of Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers from Sherman College of Chiropractic.
- Post-Doctorate Diplomate in the Gonstead Technique of Chiropractic 2015.
- Post-Doctorate Diplomate in Chiropractic Philosophy through the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) in 2016.
- He currently is a technique instructor through the Gonstead Methodology Institute.
- From 2018-2020 he served on the board as Secretary and Treasurer for The Council on Chiropractic Philosophy for the International Chiropractors Association (ICA).
- He served as the Board President for The Council on Chiropractic Philosophy for the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) from 2021-2023.
- He became one of only 27 chiropractors in the world to hold the distinction of being a Fellow in the Gonstead system when he was voted in as a Gonstead Fellow in 2024 through the Gonstead Clinical Studies Society.
- He is one of only four chiropractors in the world to be both a Gonstead Fellow and a Philosophy Diplomate.
In his free time Dr. Joe loves to spend time with his wife Katie, his daughter Hope and his son Camden as well as his family and friends. He enjoys playing basketball and loves to watch baseball, basketball and football. Dr. Joe is a Hawkeye fan and he is involved in his Church.
